Beautiful property with unique Costa Rican charm.

Unfortunately, we had our share of challenges. The toilet in our room barely flushed, which made for an uncomfortable experience. Also, the sewage smell outside made it difficult to enjoy the lovely patio area. Add to that the traffic congestion during the evening commute, it was quite a hassle getting around, making dinner plans a bit of a struggle.

The grounds of the Trapp Family Country Lodge felt like a tropical resort, with majestic 300-year-old trees providing a lovely shade. My spacious room had a beautiful view of the pool and gardens. Enjoying dinner on the veranda was a highlight. the food was delicious. Coffee and bananas were provided promptly in the early morning upon my departure, showing attention to detail. However, I did encounter some noise from nearby planes, which was a bit disruptive, especially at night.

The lush tropical gardens provided a serene escape, and the kind staff even arranged an early morning coffee for me before my flight.

I stayed here for 1 night and it was an absolute gem! The gardens are stunning, felt like a mini paradise! The breakfast was super tasty and really hit the spot. The owners were awesome, even checked in on us for dinner plans. Only thing was, the occasional plane sound could be heard, but it didn't ruin my vibe.

My stay at Trapp Family Country Inn was delightful! The beautiful gardens and open-air dining area truly made it feel like a tropical paradise. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that all my needs were met during my visit. Plus, the location is so close to the airport, making travel a breeze.

I stayed for 1 night in the Queen Room with Two Queen Beds and the room was spacious with a comfy bed. There was also a nice TV with cable and a large bathroom that had hot water—huge plus after other places! I loved the patio overlooking the pool and gardens. A little noise from nearby planes was noticeable but not bothersome. The lovely grounds made the overall vibe pretty chill and inviting.

Had a great time with friends here! The place felt like a peaceful retreat with beautiful surroundings and spacious gardens. We enjoyed exploring a nearby coffee plantation and took a nice cruise to Tortugas Island. The staff were super friendly and even arranged breakfast for us. Perfect airport location!

The only downside was that the entrance to the place was a bit rough, which could be a little off-putting at first, but everything else made up for it.

The spacious rooms, the lovely patio overlooking the pool, the exceptional dining experience was simply satisfying.

Recommend it for couples looking for convenience

The grounds are fine,, felt like I was in a mini oasis. The gardens are just magnificent and having breakfast on the patio overlooking the lush greenery was a real treat.

It wasn’t exactly a budget stay,,, but for the comfort and beauty it was acceptable.
